Snthesis is a platform for scientific research.

Science (like many industries) has a data problem. Too often data lives in individual spreadsheets, and scientists lack a way to search across large data sets. Adding in massive amounts of data from lab instruments compounds the issue.

The Snthesis platform helps scientists standardize, aggregate, and search their research data. This makes it easier to collaborate across teams, as well as reuse data for other purposes.

Role: Design Lead (freelance)

Project Responsibilities

• Design for long and short-term product goals

• Accommodate the workflows of different scientific teams

• Gather data to inform product decisions

• Organize cross-team collaboration

Team Responsibilities

• Create a design system for platform and client-facing products

• Advise and participate in the customer research process
